What is BTX, and why bonuz was first

BTX is a post-quantum blockchain. Its own tagline puts it plainly: The Post-Quantum AI Blockchain. It went live on 19 March 2026.

Two things make it stand out. The cryptography is post-quantum from day one, built to the latest NIST standards so it holds up against a future quantum computer. And it is secured by a new kind of proof-of-work based on matrix multiplication, the same class of computation that powers AI.

It carries forward what Bitcoin proved, a fixed supply of 21 million coins, no issuer, and rules anyone can verify, then rebuilds the rest for the post-quantum, AI era. It is its own chain, not a fork of Bitcoin.

We think that is genuinely cool, and worth being early to. That is why bonuz is the first mobile, multi-chain wallet to support BTX, right next to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.

Want the whitepaper, the source code, and the full network details? It all lives on the official BTX hub at btx.dev.

Based on publicly available information as of June 2026. bonuz is the first mobile, multi-chain wallet to support BTX.

Your BTX. Your Keys. Your Rules.

Not your keys, not your BTX. With bonuz, they are always yours.

bonuz is self-custodial by design. bonuz cannot reach into your wallet, and neither can anyone else. You hold your BTX, and you approve every move.

How your keys are protected:

Instead of a seed phrase, bonuz uses MPC (Multi-Party Computation). Your key is split into encrypted shares across separate secure environments, so it is never stored whole in one place. You sign in with email or a social account, and a lost phone never means a lost wallet.

BTX brings its own protection at the network level. It is a post-quantum chain, built on signatures designed to resist future quantum computers. That security comes from the BTX network itself, and bonuz is the easy, self-custodial way to use it.

Independently audited. Independently verified.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about bonuz and BTX

Is bonuz a self-custodial BTX wallet?
Yes. bonuz is fully self-custodial, so you and only you control your keys and your BTX. bonuz cannot access, freeze, or move your funds. Your wallet is secured with MPC (Multi-Party Computation) technology powered by Web3Auth, which splits your key so it is never stored whole in any single place. You get real self-custody without the hassle of writing down a seed phrase.
What is BTX?
BTX is a post-quantum blockchain, officially called The Post-Quantum AI Blockchain. It went live on 19 March 2026. Its cryptography is post-quantum from day one (NIST-standard ML-DSA and SLH-DSA signatures), and it is secured by a matrix-multiplication proof-of-work, the same class of computation that powers AI. It carries forward what Bitcoin proved, a fixed 21 million supply and no issuer, and rebuilds the rest for the post-quantum era. It is its own chain, not a fork of Bitcoin. BTX addresses start with btx1z, and the full technical story is at btx.dev.
Is bonuz the first wallet to support BTX?
bonuz is the first mobile, multi-chain wallet to support BTX. That means you can hold BTX on your phone, right next to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and your other chains, in one simple app. There is also a dedicated desktop wallet for advanced users, but bonuz is the easiest way to use BTX on the go.
Why is BTX called post-quantum or quantum-resistant?
Most of today's blockchains rely on elliptic-curve keys, which a large quantum computer could one day break with Shor's algorithm. BTX is built from genesis on NIST-standardized post-quantum signatures, ML-DSA-44 (FIPS 204) for everyday spends and SLH-DSA-128s (FIPS 205) for recovery, which those attacks do not break. The quantum resistance is a property of the BTX chain itself, not something the wallet adds.
Do I need a seed phrase to use bonuz for BTX?
No. bonuz removes seed phrases entirely. Instead of 12 or 24 words you have to write down, bonuz uses MPC key technology. You sign in with your email, Google, or Apple ID, and your BTX wallet is ready. If you lose your phone, you sign in again on a new device. Nothing to lose, no single point of failure.
How do I add BTX to bonuz?
Open the app, choose BTX as your chain, and you get a BTX address you can share. Receive BTX from anyone, or point your mining payouts at your bonuz BTX address. Holding, sending, and receiving BTX all work right inside the app.
Where can I see the BTX price?
bonuz shows the BTX price from btxprice.com. As of 26 June 2026, BTX does not appear to be traded on any public exchanges yet, so btxprice.com is an indicative, predicted figure rather than a live market rate. We surface it so you can keep a rough eye on your balance, not as a quote or investment advice.
Is bonuz safe to use for BTX?
bonuz takes security seriously at every level. Smart contracts are audited by Hacken with a perfect 10/10 score. Key infrastructure is audited by CertiK and Cure53. The platform holds SOC 2 Type II certification (Web3Auth). At the app level you are protected by Face ID or biometric unlock, a separate sending PIN for every transaction, configurable auto-lock, and MFA support. bonuz uses the same Web3Auth MPC infrastructure trusted by over 50 million users globally.
Is bonuz only a BTX wallet?
No. bonuz is a multi-chain wallet that supports 11+ networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and more. BTX simply lives alongside everything else. One app, one login, all your chains.
Can beginners use bonuz as a BTX wallet?
Absolutely. You can set up a BTX wallet in about 15 seconds. No jargon, no seed phrases, no complicated setup. Sign in with your email, pick BTX, and you are ready. The interface is clean and available in 24 languages.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your BTX is safe. Because bonuz uses MPC key technology instead of seed phrases, your wallet is tied to your login, not to a single device. Download bonuz on a new phone, sign in with the same email or social account, and your wallet is restored with all your assets.
Is bonuz free to use as a BTX wallet?
Yes. bonuz is free to download and free to use. There is no subscription, no premium tier, and no hidden fees from bonuz itself. Standard network fees apply on-chain, and bonuz sponsors gas for many core ecosystem actions through account abstraction.
Where can I learn more about BTX itself?
The official developer hub for BTX is btx.dev, with the source code, technical docs, and everything about the network. You can also explore live transactions on the BTX block explorer. bonuz is the wallet; btx.dev is the chain.
